Senate Bill 223: Veterans and Service Member State Park Discount

Effective Date: September 7, 2026

Senate Bill 223 requires the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to provide veterans and current service members a 25% discount on ALL state park services and rentals. The discount does not apply to merchandise.

Veterans and service members will need to present an accepted form of identification, such as a VA veteran health identification card, Ohio veteran identification card, certain Department of Defense identification cards, or a qualifying federal recreation pass.
